Emily & Marco at-home couples lifestyle session | New Jersey couples photographers

If you follow my blog (or any of my social media accounts) you know how special couples are to me. My husband & I are a family of 2 so working with other couples touches my heart in a unique way. I’ve been dying to shoot more of them and finally my prayers were answered, big time. The night before this session was one of only a few snow storms that we’ve had in Jersey this year. Emily, being the sweetheart she is, asked if I was still going to be able to get there. Little did she know that my absolute favorite days to do at-home sessions are those days when we’d all like to stay in anyway because it’s either snowing or raining. What better time to cuddle up with your love & a cuppa coffee than a snowy Saturday morning? This entire session was truly magical, there was so much love. It’s also awesome when a couple has that perfect balance of goofy and sexy, which Emily & Marco 100% nailed.

Bonus: we found out via my couples playlist that we all have super similar tastes in music. Marco recounted all the amazing times he’s seen Bon Iver in concert. I just saw them for the first time last night, so of course I’m going to play this blog out with some Holocene. It’s one of the many Bon Iver songs on my playlist & one of my all time faves. xo
